Who is lexine Stewart?

Lexine Stewart is an American lawyer and activist. She is the Executive Director of the Chicago Urban League and the President and CEO of the Illinois African-American Policy Strategy Institute. Stewart is a former Commissioner of the Chicago Board of Education and a former Senior Policy Advisor to the Mayor of Chicago. She is also a commentator on current events and social issues.

Stewart is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Northwestern University. She is a licensed attorney in Illinois. She has worked in the fields of law, education, and public policy. She is also an active member of the community. She has served on numerous boards and committees, and she is frequently invited to speak at events.

Stewart is a strong advocate for social justice and equality. She is a frequent critic of the criminal justice system and the education system. She is also an advocate for affordable housing and access to healthcare. Stewart is a passionate and eloquent spokesperson for the African-American community.
