Here is a sample prayer:
St. Aidan, you were a man of great faith and compassion. You dedicated your life to serving God and sharing the Gospel with others. I ask for your intercession on my behalf. Please pray for me that [mention your needs] and that I may be guided by the Holy Spirit. Amen.
It is important to note that praying to saints is not about worshiping them. We pray to saints to ask for their prayers and to benefit from their example of faith. The ultimate object of our worship is God alone.
