Ode to a Television with Poor Vision

In days of old, when channels were few,

And screens were small and dim,

There stood a TV, a relic true,

With a vision that was grim.

The colors were muted, the picture was grainy,

The clarity was often lost,

But we'd sit and watch, our eyes so untrained,

Embracing every pixel that crossed.

The joy it brought, though limited in sight,

Was pure and true to the core,

For what mattered most was the feeling inside,

As families gathered to explore.

We'd laugh and we'd cry, as characters came to life,

On that screen with its faded hue,

And memories were made, oh so vivid and bright,

In the warmth of that nostalgic view.

So here's to you, dear TV of yore,

With your reception so weak,

For though your vision may have been poor,

You brought us moments we'll always keep.

In this era of HD and streaming galore,

We may have moved on to new heights,

But we'll never forget the joy you gave,

And the stories you brought into our lives.
