How to Find Books About Ancient Egypt

Many libraries around the United States offer a variety of non-fiction texts on ancient societies and cultures. Books containing information about ancient Egypt can be found by using the Dewey Decimal System to find the location of a specific book in the library. The Dewey Decimal System categorizes books according to related topics. Each topic category is given a call number ranging from 000 to 999. Books relating to history and geography are given a call number of 900. The call number 962 relates to books on Egypt and Sudan.
