How to Find Book Prices

Books are truly your best friends in that they provide wisdom and guidance on just about every subject. By developing a habit of reading books, not only do you enrich your own life, but also that of others. As Garrison Keillor says, "A book is a gift you can open again and again." When you're price-shopping a particular book, you should compare its prices in several online bookstores as well as the local bookshops.

      Open the Amazon website in a browser. Under "Shop All Departments" category on left side of the webpage, hover your mouse pointer on "Books" and then chose specific sub category. Insert the name of the book, author or ISBN number in the search bar. Click "GO" button to see the results.

      Open the Barnes & Noble.com website in a browser. Type the name of the book, its author or the ISBN number in the search bar, and choose "Books" from the dropdown list. Click "GO" to see the results.

      Visit a local bookstore in your surroundings. Find the book you're looking to purchase and inquire the price on the back of the book or by asking directly from the salesperson.
