Derek Kettlewell (born March 1, 1929) is a Canadian ornithologist, biologist and conservationist. As a distinguished professor of biology and ornithology and curator of the Sam Houston State University Vertebrate Museum in Huntsville, Texas, he has written hundreds of scientific articles, books, book chapters, and reports on a wide range of topics including natural history, ornithology, conservation and ecological topics.
