What book did Rubeus Hagrid get Norbert the dragon?

Rubeus Hagrid didn't get Norbert the dragon from a book. He received Norbert as a gift from a friend who had been breeding dragons and thought Hagrid would enjoy the "pet". This happened before Hagrid even started attending Hogwarts.
