Who wrote Jan- Gan Man?

The National Anthem of India, Jana-gana-mana, was composed by Rabindranath Tagore. It was originally written in Bengali, titled "Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata" and sung for the first time on December 27, 1911, at the Calcutta Session of the Indian National Congress.
