The Triwizard Tournament is a magical competition that takes place between three schools of magic: Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang. The competition consists of three tasks, each of which tests the students' magical skills, courage, and intelligence. The first task is to retrieve a dragon's egg from a nest guarded by a dragon; the second task is to rescue a person from the depths of the Black Lake; and the third task is to navigate a maze full of obstacles and traps. The winner of the Triwizard Tournament is awarded the Triwizard Cup.

In the fourth book of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter is unexpectedly chosen as a contestant in the Triwizard Tournament. He must compete against two other students, one from Beauxbatons and one from Durmstrang, in order to win the tournament. Harry faces many challenges and dangers in the tournament, but he ultimately emerges as the winner.
