What does Ponyboy nightmare seem to foreshadow?

In "The Outsiders," Ponyboy's nightmare might foreshadow two significant events which unfold as the story progress

1."Greaser:" Ponyboy Curtis, the protagonist, becomes a symbol of greasers when he dreams of being submerged and unable to break free. This vision hints at the impending gang conflicts and difficulties they might encounters due to societal biases against their group.

2. Johnny Cade's Fate: Ponyboy has recurring dream in which Johhny dies tragically and he feels overwhelming remorse and guilt. Given what transpires after this dream when Johhy ends up accidentally killing a Soc and becomes a wanted figure it foreshadows how Ponyboy would be emotionally disturbed by Johhny's actions later in the novels and grapple with feelings of trauma, sadness, and self-blame
