What does Robin Gibb have?

Colorectal Cancer

On November 19, 2011, Gibb's representative revealed that he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and that his younger brother Barry was recovering from kidney surgery. In February 2012, Gibb announced that his cancer had spread to the liver and colon, and that he had undergone surgery on 20 October 2011. He received six rounds of chemotherapy between July and December 2011. It was also reported in February 2012 that Gibb was given just months to live. However, he made further progress through an experimental drug trial and was sufficiently healthy by the summer to record two new songs for the Bee Gees' Mythology box set. On 13 April 2012, Gibb revealed on the UK breakfast television programme Daybreak that his tumours had shrunk by 75% after treatment, and that doctors had given him the "all-clear". In October 2012, Gibb completed a seven-week radiotherapy treatment on his liver in Boston, Massachusetts.

Liver Cancer

Gibb's cancer, however, returned later in 2012. On 14 October, he cancelled his upcoming live appearances following a scan that showed that his cancer had returned. Gibb also announced that the Bee Gees would likely tour in 2013 if his health permitted. In January 2013, he underwent further surgery to remove a growth from his liver, as well as multiple bowel resections.
