Grants for Book Purchases in Libraries

Public libraries are always in need of funding, and school libraries have a constant need for quality, educational print books for children's education. Fortunately for them, grants are available for the purchase of books for public and school libraries. However, grants for school libraries are most prevalent. This is good news for teachers and educators looking to broaden the reading choices of students.
  1. NEA Foundation Grants

    Local Foundation Grants

    • In addition to the many grant opportunities available to libraries, it is a good idea to check with local foundations that might be in a library's community. Private foundations are set up by families and organizations in order to fund local cultural events and activities of their choosing. Find out about private foundations in your region by checking with your local arts council or state library.
