How to Make a Magazine Mock-Up

A magazine mock-up is essentially a draft copy of a magazine produced before a magazine goes to print to demonstrate what the final copy will look like. Magazine mock-ups can be made in a variety of manners, including using expensive software, or simply making use of old-fashioned scissors and glue. For people making a magazine at home, using paper and scissors is probably the easiest and least expensive route to take in making a magazine mock-up.
