Write or gather the articles and photographs to be used in the magazine.
Pair articles and photos together that will share a page.
Organize the sets of photos and articles in the progression they will be used in the magazine.
Gather sheets of paper in a stack and number them consecutively in the bottom right corner.
Arrange the articles and photos as desired, beginning with the first page. Use a marker to write in headlines and bylines.
Glue the articles and photos to the page. Use scissors to make things fit as needed.
Use a computer to type the titles and bylines that are written in marker. Print these and glue them onto the pages in the appropriate spaces.
Make the index page. Use the draft pages as a guide to creating the index properly.
Make the front and back cover of the magazine. Use the computer or unique handwritten letters to create the title and any additional text, such as teasers and summaries of the magazine's contents
Bind the pages. This can be done with string, brads, a three-ring binder or any other desired method.
