Research prices and services of reputable printers if publishing independently. Telephone or email printers such as Sino American Press (a printer servicing Taiwan's book publishers and writers) and peruse websites. Ask for references from other writers and publishers that successfully partnered with the printer before negotiating and signing a contract.
Attend the Taipei International Book Fair
Meet publishers and editors at the Taipei International Book Fair, generally held in early February. Distribute your contact information and set up meetings with editors and publishers attending the fair to discuss the prospects of publishing your book. Typically, the fair attracts over 650 exhibitors and more than 400,000 attendees.
