Load all of the text and images that you want in your book into the software program. If it already exists in a different file on your computer, transfer that file (and all related, necessary content files for your book) into the publishing software program.
Arrange the text and images within the software application as you wish them to appear in the final printed version, and print your book within the publishing program using a laser printer to the desired size, given the size limitations of the available printer.
Copyright your final draft for $35 at copyright.gov to protect your investment and give you legal leverage should someone infringe upon it.
Obtain a 10-digit ISBN number to sell your book online with retailers like Amazon and Barnes &Noble by applying at ISBN.org, which also offers a EAN 13 digit bar-code service for publishers with an ISBN. (Fees for basic ISBN start at $250.)
