Who is Monique from x-art?

Monique Woodard

Monique is the Art Director for X-Art Magazine. She has worked with the magazine since 2004, where she has been responsible for the visual identity of the publication, including the design of the magazine's covers and layouts, as well as the selection of artwork and photography that is featured in the magazine.

Prior to joining X-Art, Monique worked as a graphic designer at several design studios in New York City. She has a B.A. in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and an M.F.A. in Art Direction from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

In addition to her work with X-Art, Monique has also worked as a freelance designer for a variety of clients, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Rolling Stone magazine. Her work has been featured in several publications, including Print magazine and Communication Arts magazine.

Monique is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and the Society of Illustrators. She has served as a judge for several design competitions, including the AIGA 50 Books/50 Covers competition and the Society of Illustrators Annual Awards.

Monique lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and two children.
