Who is Oliver Shelley?

Oliver John Shelley is an English actor. He is known for his roles as Adam Barlow in the ITV soap opera _Coronation Street_ (2005–08), Matt Wilding in the BBC One school-based drama _Waterloo Road_ (2011–13) and Roger Norman in the BBC Two science fiction sitcom _The Aliens_ (2016). He has also had regular roles in the television series _The Smoke_ (2014), _The Five_ (2016) and _Tell Me Your Secrets_ (2021).

Early Life:

- Oliver Shelley was born on 23 January 1991 in Macclesfield, Cheshire, England.

- He attended The King's School, Macclesfield, before going on to study drama at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Career:

- Shelley made his professional acting debut in 2005, at the age of 14, when he joined the cast of Coronation Street as Adam Barlow. He played the role until 2008.

- In 2011, he joined the cast of Waterloo Road as Matt Wilding. He played the role for three series.

- In 2014, he had a regular role in the Sky One drama series The Smoke.

- In 2016, he starred in the BBC Two sitcom The Aliens and the BBC One drama The Five.

- In 2021, he starred in the Amazon Prime Video thriller series Tell Me Your Secrets.

Shelley has also had roles in the films _The Contractor_ (2007), _The Football Factory_ (2004) and _The Rebound_ (2009).
