How to Find a List of Books by Ernest Hemingway

Ernest Hemingway was a decorated veteran of World War I and an avid outdoorsman. His experiences abroad, and in American and Canadian newsrooms influenced some of his greatest works, such as "The Sun Also Rises" and "A Farewell to Arms." He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1954 for "The Old Man and the Sea." Several resources exist where you can find lists of his works thanks to organizations dedicated to preserving his literature and his legacy.

      Visit the Nobel Prize website and click on the "Nobel Prizes" tab on the top left of the screen.

      Click on "Nobel Prize in Literature" and then click on "All Nobel Prizes in Literature."

      Scroll down the page to 1954 and click on the link. A picture will appear with "Ernest Hemingway" written above it. Click on his name.

      Click on "Bibliography" when the drop-down menu appears. A complete list of Hemingway's novels, short stories and other writings will appear, along with some critical works about him.

      Visit the Timeless Hemingway website. On the home page, click on "Ernest Hemingway Books." A list of his books will appear along with availability information and critical resources.

      Visit the Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park website and click on the "Hemingway Bibliography" link on the top right side of the home page. A list of his works will appear in chronological order.
