Who were the famous people that meet bad fate after saying god could not sink titantic?

The famous person who met a bad fate after saying that God could not sink Titanic was William Thomas Stead. He was a British journalist, author and spiritualist. He was one of the most prominent passengers aboard the RMS Titanic when it sank on April 15, 1912. Prior to the sailing, he had written an article in which he claimed that the ship was unsinkable and that God himself could not sink it. He also made several remarks about the safety of the ship and the alleged absence of lifeboats. After the ship hit an iceberg and began to sink, Stead remained calm and helped other passengers to safety. He refused to get into a lifeboat, saying that he would rather go down with the ship. He was last seen standing on the deck of the ship, waving goodbye to the survivors. His body was never recovered.
