* Goodfellas (1990): A crime drama based on the true story of Henry Hill, an Italian-American mobster who becomes an informant for the FBI.
* Casino (1995): A crime drama that follows the rise and fall of a Las Vegas casino run by the Chicago Outfit, starring Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, and Joe Pesci.
* Raging Bull (1980): A biographical sports drama about the life of boxer Jake LaMotta, starring Robert De Niro.
While Goodfellas and Casino both deal with organized crime, Raging Bull is a completely separate film with a different focus. While all three are great films, and all directed by Scorsese, there is no official "trilogy" that ties them together.
