How to Use Liquid Rubber Foam

Academy Award-winning makeup artist Rick Baker used foam rubber for the 2010 "Wolfman" movie. A cast was made of lead actor Benecio Del Toro's head. From that cast, Baker used clay to construct what the wolfman would look like. Then, a negative mold was made with fiberglass. Into these molds, foam rubber was used to make the masks for the movie. Whether or not you are working on the set of the latest Hollywood film, you can easily use liquid rubber foam for many different projects.

Pour mixture into mold. The working time for the foam rubber at room temperature is depends on the mix you purchase. Read the manufacture's instructions for working and curing time.

Wait until the foam rubber is set and cured. The foam will expand many times in volume. Pull the finished foam rubber out of the mold. Or if you are using it as a filler, leave it alone.
