What was Prince Henry the navigators school called?

Prince Henry the Navigator did not attend a formal school in the modern sense. He was educated at home by tutors and learned about navigation, astronomy, and cartography from experts at the Portuguese court.

However, he is known to have established a school of navigation in Sagres, Portugal, in the 15th century. This school, which wasn't a formal institution but rather a center of learning and experimentation, played a crucial role in the development of Portuguese maritime exploration. It attracted scholars, navigators, cartographers, and shipbuilders who worked together to improve nautical techniques and design better ships.

So, while Prince Henry didn't attend a school himself, he is credited with establishing a school of navigation, which was crucial to the Age of Exploration.
