How to Make Photo Invitations for Free

Photos add a personal touch to party invitations.With a little imagination and creativity, you can create one-of-a-kind homemade invitations that are sure to make a lasting impression.

  • Cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Photos
  • Glue stick
  • Pen or marker

Instructions

      Cut the cardstock or construction paper in half, using the scissors, bisecting the longest side of the paper.

      Fold each of the halves in half again, creating a card.

      Write out the relevant party information on the inside of the card, using a pen. Include details such as time, date, location, RSVP requirement and theme of the party. Multiple colors can be used for a funky look, or just one. Write clearly and legibly; printing is generally best for readability.

      Apply glue, using the glue stick, to the back of the photo you wish to feature on the front of your invitation.

      Affix the photo to the front of your invitation. If desired, you can add a title with a pen or marker below or above the photo, such as "You're Invited!" or "Shh ... It's a Surprise" to finish the invitation.
