Draw your character as a human. When drawing, remember that the head, upper torso and hips are central points of the body. The eyes are big when expressing innocence, purity or cuteness, while small eyes are used for wicked or villainous characters. Hair color also determines personality.
Draw the cat ears on the top of the head. These are basically bordered triangles with slightly curved sides that protrude out of the hair. Your character can still have human ears along with the cat ears, and the cat ears can be shown as false ears on a headband.
Give the person furry hands if you want to add more detail. Draw these hands thicker than regular hands and fingers, and add claws at the tips if you wish. You can draw furred gloves instead of actual hands, especially if your girl wears a sleeveless top.
Add a tail for an extra bit of detail. Such a tail is drawn in an S-like curve that travels upward, and the end of the tail is often at the same height as the person’s shoulders.
Decide on whether your cat person has spots or stripes and add these to the ears, hands and tail. Leopard-like spots are usually dark splotches of different sizes and shapes, while stripes are slightly wavy and can extend from one side to the other.
Add the same color, spots and stripes to whatever clothes the cat person is wearing. Focus in particular on the top and shoes--especially if the shoes are long boots.
