High contrast can highlight certain features on a photograph.
Increase the contrast of your photograph by going to Image - Adjustments - Brightness/Contrast. Doing so will give your photograph a bold, eye-catching appearance.

Change the colors in your photo, such as your hair or clothing, by going to Image - Adjustments - Hue/Saturation. Drag the arrow on the color spectrum to cycle through colors.

Using the Brush tool, add designs and texture to your photograph, such as safety pins or tarnished metal. Click on the Brush tool on the left sidebar, and change the size of the brush by manipulating the Master Diameter bar on the top of the Brush window.
