     Connect the tattoo machine to the clip cord. Connect the clip cord to the power supply.

     Turn on the power supply and press down on the foot pedal to ensure the power is running to the machine.

     Increase the power to the machine by turning the knob to a high option if working on a part of the body that has loose skin. Decrease the power to the machine by turning the knob to a low option if working on a less fleshy part of the body, like a collarbone.
