How to Make My Own Temporary Tattoo Station

Temporary tattoos are an activity or favor to give at a children's party. Setting up a temporary tattoo station in your home will make the experience into a game and more real for the guests of the event. Children have the option to pick their own tattoo design and sit in the chair while the adult deemed as the tattoo artist applies the tattoo. Decorate the house with tattoo designs like dragons, skulls and pirate ships to make the children feel like they are in a real tattoo shop.

Instructions

    • 1

Wipe down a tabletop or counter with a disinfectant. Place two chairs facing each other in front of the table or counter.

    • 2

Organize the temporary tattoos in a binder with clear sleeves. Arrange the designs in alphabetical order, or group together similar designs. For instance, place all animal designs in one sleeve and flowers in another. This will make the choice of tattoo easier for the guests of the party or event to pick them out and make the line move along quickly. Place the binder at the front corner of the table to make it accessible.

    • 3

Fill a bowl with warm water and place it on the table. Place a sponge in a plastic bowl and lay it next to the bowl of warm water. Put a roll of paper towels next to the bowls for blotting the applied tattoos and for water spills. Set up a kitchen timer for 30 to 45 seconds while applying the temporary tattoo.

    • 4

Make a tattoo shop sign with a piece of poster board and markers. Fill in the sign with a tattoo shop name and prices. Give the party guests fake money to pay the artist.
