How to Use a Riso Print Gocco
If you want to do home screen-printing, then you can use a Riso Gocco. The Riso Gocco is a home screen-printer that if you have the necessary bulbs and paper for it, allows you to make your own screen prints. It is estimated that at one point in Japan, one in three homes owned a Gocco, making this an incredibly popular tool at certain points. While the Gocco's have now been discontinued, they have attracted a kitsch following, especially online. There are various things you will need to use the Gocco to make a print.
- Picture printed with toner
- Blank screen
- Bulbs for the Print Gocco

Open up the Print Gocco.

Put your printed picture on the middle of unit (on top of the gray piece of metal).

Slide out the bulb container, unscrew the old bulb and fit a new bulb into its place. Re-attach the bulb container.

Slot a new blank screen into place on the underside of the bulbs below the plastic sheet.

Close the Print Gocco back together. Then press on the open end to flash the bulb and make your print.
