Open the manga book to the page you wish to redraw. Alternatively, download a strip of manga from the Internet and print it out.
Cover the panels you are not drawing using several sheets of paper. This helps you concentrate on re-drawing the manga.
Draw a close-up of the character, if the panel consists of a close-up. Draw a large circle with a pointed end. In the horizontal center of the circle, draw two large round eyes. Under the eyes, draw a short, horizontal line for a nose. Under the nose, draw the mouth. If the character is talking, his mouth consists of a slightly curved line connected to a wide, U-shaped line. If the character is silent, his mouth consists of a curved line. Add the hair and neck, using the original manga drawing as a reference.
Create a full-sized image of the character, if the panel consists of a full-sized image. Draw a smaller version of the head and neck. Connect the neck to a long body. The body consists of a wide line for shoulders, a long torso and hips that extend into legs. If the character is a female, draw a curved body that follows the shape of an hourglass. If the character is a male, draw an angular body that looks like a triangle. Add clothing, using the original manga drawing as a reference.
Add any other present characters to the drawing. Add thought or speech bubbles, if they are present in the original drawing. Include the original next.
Uncover the next panel and cover the current panel. Draw the next panel using a pen or pencil. Draw the new panel on the same sheet of paper, moving it to the right, or draw it on a clean sheet of paper.
Continue completing drawings until you redraw the manga scene.
