Instructions

    • 1

Find an image in a magazine or newspaper that you want to transfer. Photos printed from laser printers can also be used.

    • 2

Cut out the image with scissors. Lay the image facedown on the paper you wish to transfer it to. Pour a small portion of lighter fluid onto the back of the image and let it soak for a moment. Be sure the lighter fluid covers the whole area you want to transfer.

    • 3

Place a sheet of plastic acetate on top of the photo. Hold it down while rubbing the back with an empty ballpoint pen or other burnishing tool such as a bone creaser. Go over the entire surface. Lift to reveal the transferred image on the paper.
