Put the sock over your hand. Bring your four fingers together in a row and move your thumb up and down to make a mouth.
Mark two dots on the sock for the eyes once you are happy with the feel of you mouth. Remove the sock and sew a button over each dot.
Cut two thin strips from black, brown or yellow fabric and sew one above each eye to create eyebrows.
Cut a tongue shape from the pink fabric. Put the sock back onto your hand and mark the sock at the point where the back of the mouth forms. Remove the sock again and sew the tongue to the sock.
