Hold three strips of leather in one hand. Position the strips to the ends are aligned.
Wrap a rubber band on the end of the three strips to hold them together.
Lay the bundle on a flat surface.
Spread the bundle so the three strips are separated. You should have a left strip, a middle strip and a right strip.
Grab the right strip and overlap the middle strip, but do not overlap the left strip. The right strip should now be between the middle strip and the left strip.
Grab the left strip and overlap the middle strip, but do not overlap the right strip. The left strip should now be between the middle strip and the right strip.
Repeat the process of overlapping the middle strip with the right strip, then the left strip and so on, until the entire length of leather cords is braided.
Remove the rubber band.
Glue the ends of the cords together with a hot glue gun.
