Braiding a Leather Cord

Braiding leather is the process of intertwining, or wrapping, two or more cords of leather together to form one cord. Leather cords, or strips, are braided to create necklaces, bracelets, headbands and other accessories. Braiding is done by hand and doesn’t require the use of any tools. There are many styles of braid used with leather, each of which implements the technique used in one of the simplest braids, the three-cord braid.
