How to Cover a Finger Tattoo With Makeup

If you have a tattoo, it's likely that there will be times when you may want to cover it up, such as during a job interview. However, this can be difficult if the tattoo is on a part of your body that isn't usually covered by clothing, such as your fingers. For the ideal coverage it is best to use specific tattoo cover-up makeup. But if you don't have any, and are pressed for time, you can use simple makeup products instead. The result may not be as good, but for a small finger tattoo, it will definitely be good enough.

Instructions

    • 1

Apply concealer to the tattoo on your finger. For best results use two shades (light and dark), spreading the light concealer first, followed by the dark.

    • 2

Blend the concealer into the surrounding areas to give it an even flow.

    • 3

Apply powder to the tattoo with a pad. Dab the tattoo and the surrounding area to achieve a natural look.

    • 4

Apply foundation to the area in small and delicate increments. You don't want to apply too much foundation or it will be obvious you have makeup on your finger and draw attention to it, which defeats the purpose of covering it up.

    • 5

Blend the foundation in with your fingers until it looks natural.

    • 6

Apply powder once more to seal it all in, and you are ready to go.
