How to Make Hard Face Paint

When creating theater makeup or painting a face for a costume, multiple colors and textures add realism to scars, bruises, peeling, wounds and other embellishments. Hard face paint works well to add these effects, and you can make this type of face putty without even going to the store.

Pour the melted crayon into an old bowl or paper cup. Stir in a tablespoon of petroleum jelly for every two melted crayons. Allow the mixture to cool for up to 15 minutes. Once cool, stir again.
