Limoges is a city in the Haute-Vienne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of west-central France. It is the prefecture of the department. Limoges is known for its porcelain, which is produced there since the 18th century. The porcelain industry in Limoges is one of the oldest in Europe. The city is home to several porcelain factories and museums, including the Musée national Adrien Dubouché.
