Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a string of small white lights. These are often known as "twinkle lights" and can be found at any hardware or lighting store. Select a string that has at least ten bulbs.

    • 2

Flip the canvas over and place it on a flat surface such as a table.

    • 3

Position the light string along the inner edge of the canvas. Start at the top left corner and pull the string around until it covers all edges.

    • 4

Tape the wiring of the light string to the back of the canvas with small pieces of electrical tape.

    • 5

Hang the canvas as desired, and plug the light string into an outlet or extension cord. The twinkle lights will give the piece an airy, art gallery-like feel.
