How to Make Your Own Memorial Car Stickers

Attaching a sticker to your car's bumper or window can be a great way to make a statement or show your support for a cause or individual. Memorial car stickers are often created in support of the troops or a lost loved one. Although they may be found in many stores, you may be looking for a sticker that is more personal. Thankfully, it is quite easy to create your own memorial car sticker from the comfort of your own home.

      Design your sticker using paper and basic art supplies, then scan it onto your computer. You can also use a word processing program to design the sticker. Memorial stickers commonly feature a simple silhouette or black-and-white line drawing representing the person or cause, circled by the words "In Loving Memory." Many special fonts are available as a free download online if you want to make your sticker pop.

      Open your design in a word processing program. Navigate to the program's printing options menu. In the Paper Size area, select the dimensions of your vinyl decal paper.

      Place your vinyl decal paper into the printer and click "Print."

      Send or take your decal design to your local print shop if you do not have access to a printer at home. In addition to printing your memorial sticker, it can make any design changes that you may need.
