How to Make a Hand Print Kit

Every parent loves handprinted crafts from their children. Typically these handprint pictures fall into one of two categories: wall-worthy or refrigerator-worthy. The difference between these two is the quality of the craft. Making handprint kits is a great idea for special occasions like Mother's Day, Father's Day and birthdays. These types of kits allow your children to make something that is precious and will remain a memory frozen in time of children growing up.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove all of the price stickers from your supplies as well as unnecessary labels.

    • 2

Write up directions on how to use your handprint kit. For example, with the items listed for supplies, the directions should instruct the user to use the paints to make the child's handprints on the light colored poster board. Copy or print the included poem on the cardstock. Use the scissors to cut around the child's handprints. Glue the handprints to the cardstock and frame. Hang as desired.

    • 3

Organize the items inside the basket in a presentable manner. It should look neat and organized, but all of the items must be visible. You can add anything else you desire to the basket.

    • 4

Wrap up the basket so that none of the items fall out. Decorate the basket if desired. You can use stickers or ribbons.

    • 5

Give the basket as a gift or compile several of them to sell.
