How to Make an Inexpensive Sketch Book
Using a sketchbook on a daily basis can strengthen drawing and composition skills. A sketchbook is also a handy depository for artwork ideas, reference drawings and paint color swatches. A avid sketchbook user can go through a sketchbook every week. That can get expensive. To save money, you can make your own sketchbook by using inexpensive supplies from an office supply store. While this homemade sketchbook won't stand up to watercolors, it will work fine with any dry media.
