How to Easily Frame a Canvas Painting

A work of art on canvas is a stylish addition for any home. Of course, before you put the painting up you’ll want to frame it. Even though framing is a fairly straightforward process, there are some things you’ll want to keep in mind when mounting the painting, such as frame color and size. Once you have the desired frame, it will only be a matter of minutes before the painting is ready to be put up on the wall.

      Select a frame that matches the dimensions of your canvas painting. In addition, try to match the color of the frame with the dominant color in the painting. This will give the frame and canvas painting a sense of uniformity.

      Slide the canvas painting into the open back of the frame and ensure that the corners of the canvas painting are flush with the corners of the frame.

      Fit the included piece of paper over the back of the frame. Or, if your particular frame came with a rear cover, fit the cover into the frame, over the back of the painting.

      Hang the canvas painting on the wall.
