Where to get the good rod in soul silver?

Soul Silver doesn't have a concept of "good rods" in the same way other games do. You only get one fishing rod throughout the entire game, and it's powerful enough to catch every fish in the game.

Here's how you get it:

1. Start the game: You get the Old Rod from your rival at the beginning of the game.

2. Use the Old Rod: It's your only fishing tool. You'll be able to catch most, if not all, of the fish in the game with it.

There's no need to worry about finding a "better" rod because the Old Rod is all you'll ever need in Soul Silver!
