Locate the oil filler cap. It is typically located on the top of the engine, near the back. It may be marked with an oil can icon or the word "Oil".
Remove the oil filler cap. Be careful not to spill any oil.
Insert a funnel into the oil filler hole.
Add new oil to the engine. The amount of oil you need to add will vary depending on the engine size. Please consult your owner's manual for the specific amount.
Replace the oil filler cap.
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This will circulate the new oil throughout the engine.
Check the oil level using the dipstick. The oil level should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.
