What kind of animals live in Cannes?

Cannes is a coastal city, so you'll find a variety of animals commonly found in Mediterranean coastal environments:

Common Animals:

* Birds: Seagulls, herons, blackbirds, sparrows, and other common European bird species.

* Mammals: Rats, mice, squirrels, cats, dogs (domesticated), and occasionally foxes.

* Reptiles: Lizards, snakes (mostly harmless species), and sometimes turtles.

* Insects: Bees, wasps, ants, beetles, butterflies, and other common insects.

* Marine Life: Fish, crabs, starfish, and other marine creatures in the nearby Mediterranean Sea.

Less Common Animals:

* Wild Boars: They have been known to venture into the city's outskirts.

* Bats: Some species of bats live in the area.

* Hedgehogs: They can be found in gardens and parks.

Important Note: Cannes is a heavily populated urban area, so wild animal populations are generally limited. However, the nearby natural areas and the Mediterranean Sea provide habitats for a diverse range of animal species.
