How to Make a Wrist Corsage With Pearls

A wrist corsage is a tradition for going to the prom and for bridesmaids and flower girls. You can also wear one to a garden party or other event. Flower wrist corsages can be expensive; with a little creativity, you can make your own. Adding pearls to a corsage makes it even more elegant. Create a wrist corsage with real or artificial flowers.

Instructions

    • 1

Cut a piece of ribbon that is three times the circumference of your wrist. This ensures that the ribbon is long enough to knot and tie a bow around your wrist.

    • 2

Arrange the flowers in the pattern you want for your corsage. Attach the flowers and leaves together by twisting wire around them at the base. Use the needle and thread or the glue gun to attach the flower arrangement to the middle of the ribbon. Make a wrist corsage with fresh or artificial flowers.

    • 3

Thread one to three pearls onto a 3 to 5-inch piece of wire. Move the pearls to the middle of the wire and loop the wire closed by twisting it together immediately next to the pearls. This should form a small tight loop that holds the pearls with the remainder of the wire twisted together to form a straight stick. Make 3 or 4 separate pearl and twisted wire sticks.

    • 4

Attach the pearls to the corsage by twisting the ends of the twisted wire sticks onto the stems of the flowers and leaves. Keep the ends of the wire away from the ribbon by intertwining them securely around the stems of the flowers and leaves. Arrange the pearls evenly throughout the corsage.

    • 5

Tie the finished corsage securely onto your wrist and have someone tie the ribbon ends in a bow.
