Do all actors wear makeup in production?

Yes, all actors wear makeup in production, even if it's just a small amount. Makeup is used to even out skin tones and cover up blemishes, as well as to create specific looks for characters. For example, an actor playing a villain might wear dark, heavy makeup to create a more menacing appearance.

There are a few exceptions to this rule. In some cases, actors may not wear makeup if they are playing a character who is supposed to be very natural or realistic. For example, an actor playing a doctor in a medical drama might not wear makeup at all, in order to create a more authentic look.

Additionally, some actors may have allergies or other sensitivities to makeup, which may prevent them from wearing it. In these cases, the actor and the production team will work together to find a solution that allows the actor to still perform in the role without wearing makeup.
