What were the names of acting troupes with which think Shakespeare was involved?

William Shakespeare was involved with two acting troupes during his career:

1. The Lord Chamberlain's Men: This was the acting troupe that Shakespeare was primarily associated with from 1594 to 1603. The troupe was originally formed in 1594 as the Lord Strange's Men, but changed its name to the Lord Chamberlain's Men in 1597 when it became the official playing company of the Lord Chamberlain, Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon. Shakespeare was a principal actor in the company, as well as a playwright. The Lord Chamberlain's Men performed at various venues in London, including the Theatre, the Curtain, and the Globe Theatre.

2. The King's Men: After the death of Queen Elizabeth I in 1603, the Lord Chamberlain's Men became the King's Men under the patronage of King James I. The troupe continued to perform Shakespeare's plays, as well as plays by other playwrights, at the Globe Theatre and other venues. Shakespeare remained associated with the King's Men until his retirement from the theatre in 1613.
