Why would you want to be happy on the movie snow white and seven dwarfs?

In the fairy tale "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", the dwarfs are not always happy. Being happy all the time might not necessarily be the primary goal or ideal for the dwarfs in the movie.

The dwarfs have certain roles to fulfill in the story. They are typically portrayed as hard-working and often grumpy or mischievous. Their interactions and relationships with Snow White shape the dynamics and conflicts of the story. Here's why the dwarfs may not necessarily seek continuous happiness:

Preserving the integrity of the story: The dwarfs' personalities, including their occasional grumpiness, contribute to the overall tone and plot of the movie. If they were consistently happy, it could change the story's balance and overall atmosphere.

Character Development: The interactions between Snow White and the dwarfs provide opportunities for their personal development and growth. As she teaches them to sing and keep the cottage tidy, Snow White influences them positively, ultimately leading to a happier household.

Dramatic Tension: The occasional tension and disagreements among the dwarfs and between them and Snow White create dramatic tension, making the story more engaging for the audience.

Comic Relief: The dwarfs are known for their comedic antics, which often provide light-hearted moments in the movie. Their misadventures and humorous interactions balance the darker elements and add a sense of fun to the story.

It's important to note that the dwarfs do experience moments of happiness and contentment in the movie. However, their portrayal isn't solely focused on maintaining a constant state of happiness since their individual traits, relationships, and situations drive the narrative of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
