Clean the area of skin where you want to apply the effect. Shave the area to avoid painful removal of the latex after your LARP session.
Apply a thin layer of the liquid latex with the sponge brush. Lightly press the tissue paper onto the latex while it is still wet for additional texture.
Apply an additional coat of liquid latex to the tissue while the first coat is still mostly dry but still tacky.
Pick holes and tears in the latex with the toothpick to mimic cuts or rotting flesh for your LARP session. Continue layering latex and tissue if you are trying to achieve a larger effect, such as deep cuts.
Use the hair dryer at a low setting on the latex to speed drying. Apply the spirit gum to the edges of the latex after it dries. This will ensure it is secure and prevent peeling.
Color the latex effect as desired with the makeup kit. Reds and browns work best for the interior of wounds for LARP.
Create an aged look by stretching the skin tight and applying a coat of liquid latex. The latex will dry as it contracts, causing wrinkles.
Apply the baby powder to all of latex areas. This will seal the latex and makeup to avoid smudging.
