How did Londoners know if a play was to be preformed in the Globe Theatre?

There are a couple of sources that list information about plays that were performed at the Globe. But since the Globe did not have a fixed company of actors, the actors and players would post advertisements or publish playbills with the information about any upcoming performances. These playbills would be pasted on the posts or doors of churches and other public places.
