How do you get a steelix in Pokemon Crystal?

In Pokémon Crystal, you can obtain Steelix by evolving Onix. To do this, you will need to trade an Onix that is holding a Metal Coat with another player. The other player will then need to trade it back to you. Once the Onix has been traded back to you, it will evolve into Steelix.

There are two ways to obtain a Metal Coat in Pokémon Crystal. One way is to find it as an item in the game world. The other way is to buy it from the Celadon Department Store for 1,000 Poké Dollars.

Onix can be found in the following locations in Pokémon Crystal:

- Rock Tunnel

- Mt. Silver

Once you have obtained an Onix and a Metal Coat, you can trade the Onix to another player who has Pokémon Crystal. The other player will then need to trade the Onix back to you, and it will evolve into Steelix.
